How Many Controllers do you own?

Post by ScottyB » Wed Aug 16, 2017 2:57 pm

So recently we've found out that @Mzerin only owns one controller for her PS4. I've always owned at least 2 controllers so that I can run them flat and swap over when it needs charging which I assumed was the norm for anyone who plays regularly.

Technically 3 and always had 2 on hand but one is for the 2nd ps4 in the kids room. They have recently claimed ny second but its still fully charged for a go to controller so i vote 2.

Currently I have one. Had 2 of them until a stunt race "made" me destroy one in a fit of rage.

I have a cable long enough to reach my chair when it needs charging.

I have two; the one that came with the system and one that I bought about a year or so ago. I don't use the original controller though; the R2 button is somewhat broken from all the racing we used to do!

Need to submit a change. I now have two controllers again.

Have been using my spare but it is 3 years old and was starting to act funny. Shiny new one should take care of that. Also nice to have one of the newer controllers again. The light bar on the center button is the coolest thing, lol.

Interesting! I guess it's very unique to everyone haha. I also have a 3m cable for the controller but that was purchased with the intention of using the PS4 control on the PC. I'll be getting a third one soon but that'll be for the second PS4.

@Smurf, I've seen some advertisements for specially made controllers and also lots of attachments that apparently can improve your game, what do you think about them?

Like Ln said his R2 button broke it would be good to have an aluminum alloy trigger to replace it once and for but the ones online are for the original model PS4 controller only, there are about 3 older model controllers though they all look the same. It will not fit into the newer model one's with the new light bar on top properly.

There are scuf controllers with extra buttons , elite controllers & then there is a wired one that cuts down latency because it's wired and has higher sensitivity in the trigger buttons and analog sticks for improved performance and button profiles settings for different games.

Interesting that I'm not the only person with one. Mine is a few years old and shows little to no signs of wear.

I have the one that it came with and I just ordered a clear one on ebay. When the NACON Revolution Pro finally gets approval from Sony america to sell in north america I plan on getting one of those. But I'm not holding my breath on that one, I'm starting to doubt that it ever will.

I have two, but I generally play with the same one plugged into my couch to charge.

I finally got the metal alloy thumb sticks, triggers & shoulder buttons.

The thumb sticks rotate a bit more smoothly, but I had to squeeze the bottom part with a pliers so it has a tight fit, to make sure the L3 and R3 work properly on every press. I recommend purchasing a button cap for it as well

The other buttons work's fine & now I don't have to worry about them breaking off in the future.

I have 5 controllers if you count the PS2 controller (1 PS2, 2 PS3, 2 PS4) and dual charger for the ps4. Managed to breake the charge cabble with the ps4 with the one controller setup. Now one runs out I swap to the charged one and put the other one on charge.

Also when you charge it, the controller's light thing flashes yellow when it is charging and it stops when its 100%
