What Game Have You Just Bought?

Post by ScottyB » Fri Oct 13, 2017 11:01 am

When you purchase a new game, share the news here!!

I went on a little binge last night and bought a few games. Can’t resist a good deal haha. Sadly I still have so many games that I haven’t played yet, most of which are single player and I much rather multiplayer.

Super Mega Baseball, $6. It’s a cartoony multiplayer baseball game and even though I’m not a huge sports fan, I think i could get into the more arcade style of them. At $6, it’d be cool to see some other people get it and maybe we could have a comp.

NBA Playgrounds. Following the same theme as above, this game was down to $11 and I know a few of us already have it so I decided to get it.

I also purchased Horizon Zero Dawn because I’ve been interested in this since the release, it’s a bad ass chick with a bow and arrow and my Missus wanted it as well and it’s down to $40, although I paid $53 for the deluxe version 😂

What was the most recent game you’ve bought?

I bought "Dead By Daylight" not that long ago; it's quite an addictive game! I'll also be getting "Life is Strange: Before the Storm" soon; the new episode comes out this month!

Have bought a lot of games only to never play them. Still have fallout 4 waiting, lol.

I’ve seen you on Dead by daylight a bit, looks alright. Sounds very similar to Friday the 13th.

My missus will probably get the new life is strange. I need to play the original haha.

Haha yeah. I bought that on release and still haven’t played much of it. Started it the other day again but it didn’t strike my interest. I should probably stop buying single player games as they don’t really hold my interest for very long anymore

I'm opposite. Prefer a good story, uncharted, last of us etc. Multiplayer stuff is for messing around with friends, socializing, etc.

Until GTAO, my multiplayer experiences involved 3 friends sharing corners of the same tv screen ;)

The last game I Remember purchasing was Elder Scroll Tamriel couple months ago, after seeing that you have to pay 49,000 gold pieces for a horse, when I spent six hours earning 250 gold and have it taken by the guard for swinging my sword in an instant. I guess they really wanted you to buy the DLC where it's like 1 gold piece for the horse, haven't played it since. I also earned 250 G pieces for horse riding and a 24-hour countdown clock started counting down, but you actually have to own a horse so there goes my gold pieces and my interest at the moment for that game. Hahahaha

Ohh that’s a shame @Smurf. It did look like a great game that you could spend a long time in, sucks most of these types of games make you grind a lot to get anywhere.

I’ve been on a bit of a spending spree, some good sales on haha.
